Anyone want 3 Fandango movie codes good for any R-rated movie? They expire tomorrow morning - so you either need to see a movie tonight or use the code tonight for a movie later in the week. Just make sure you have a theater that uses Fandango!

I guess I can give a little update for those interested.
Graduated from Michigan State with a BA in Psychology, and currently unsuccessfully looking for a job!
For those that didn't hear, Joel Clark is now officially married, legally and spiritually, as of Friday, May 19th. He wed a wonderful girl named Katie Andrews who went to Hillsdale with him. The wedding took place in Defiance, OH and I was one of the groomsmen. Possibly some pictures to come. He's now off to South Carolina, where he will be an officer (an Enson as of now) on a submarine in the Navy.
Well, I really can't think of anything else to talk about... which is odd.
It's been about a year and a half for me and Ashley, and things are still wonderful!
I really miss a lot of people. I never hear from anyone anymore. But, the phone works both ways... I know.
Ah well, I am drawing a blank... so I'll mention this:

2005 was definitely one of the best years of my life.
I'm kinda sad to see it go, but here's to another great year and the real beginning of my life...
Ashley has been the best thing to ever happen to me... ever. We made it official shortly after New Years last year, January 3rd. And ever since that day my life has gotten increasingly better and I've become even happier.
I did a whooooole lotta stuff I've never done before and went to a whooooole lotta places I've never been or haven't in quite some time. All of them are awe-some memories. A lot changed last year. For the first time in years, I felt like I had a real purpose and reason. I was happy, I did what I wanted to do. I didn't get pushed around nearly as much as I used to. I don't talk to a whole lotta people anymore... it would be nice to hear some old friends voices on the phone again. Alas, I know that the phone works both ways.
Now looking forward to 2006... it's going to be a crazy year, if nothing else.
-Graduation this Spring
-Finding a life after college...
-Soon Joel will be out and about in the Navy. That's so strange. My best friend that I rarely get to see now... might disappear for quite some time.
-Standing up in his wedding
-Ashley, Ashley, Ashley... and many possibilities/situations...
-Finding a way to stay afload and outta debt
Who knows what else is in store for me.
Me and Ashley celebrated our one year on New Years Eve... it was pretty fantastic : ) We made dinner together... Cheese and crackers for an appetizer, crab cakes and quiche as a side entree, and big fat noodles in an alfredo sauce, with some Gordy-esque Garlic Cheesey Bread fo the main course! It was all pretty great... we stuffed ourselvessss... and then later we had some NY Style Cheesecake with a fresh strawberry glaze... mmmmmmmmmmm!
For our anniversary I spent foreeeevvverrr writing and illustrating a fairytale based on our first year together... I sketched pictures, scanned them, and used Photoshop to add various things... and then I designed a cover for it... like so...
It turned out to be nearly 40 pages long... YIKES!
Christmas turned out pretty great... Ashley got me a Dreamcast... wahoooooo!<3
We saw Narnia... I absolutely loved it.
I am a football guru... I won my 10-team CBS Fantasy Football league... which = $$$$$ for me.
And now I am waiting the results of the Survivor Football league... I picked 17 straight weeks perfectly... it started at almost 400 people... and it's down to 2 of us... so I'll either win a fancy surround sound system or an LCD monitor/TV!
The NFL has been good to me... not so much the Lions.
Wings still kick ass though.
Hmm, I feel as if I am forgetting something *shrugs*...

I really need a ride home and I can't seem to find any affordable way. I've worked in the caf for 4 weeks now I'll just now be getting my first paycheck, so I have no cash right now. So I can't really pay for gas until I see you again or something because I'm broke. Anyone going back home???

-So I have officially caved in and in about 5 hours I will be doing dishes in the caf, and then tomorrow morning I'll be doing Totally Takeout duties, followed by a long ass shift of refilling food stuff in Yakeley... which only amounts to $100 paychecks every 2 weeks... if that... bleh.
-A long time ago I designed a shirt on Cafepress for personal use, bought it and forgot about it... a lil while back I opened up the shop to the public without any advertising or anything and a couple people bought the shirt... so I decided to re-open it and another one and actually advertise in hopes people out there will help fund my college education.

-While perusing monsterTRAK, I came across what I see as a near perfect job opportunity for me... holy shit, I have had dreams about it since hearing of it. It's a graduate assistant job at a New England Child Center place... they deal primarily with autistic and other behavioral disorders. What's so great about it? Well, they offer...

Sigh... it's exactly what I need/want.
Scary things: only 50 positions open, moving with not much in the bank, probably a bitch of an interview process, my GPA isn't anything to write home about...
Silver lining: a GPA of 3.0 is PREFERRED (not required, which is exciting)
It would be so perfect... I would get to work with kids, study behavioral disorders, be trained and surrounded by doctors and clinicians, and get my Masters in COUNSELING!... something I had given up a long time ago... bah... I don't know what to do or go about this... I literally think about it everyday.
Sigh...
Other than that... it is really cold outside... but it is fall!
Perhaps Halloweekends on Friday since Michelle Tarnowski hoed me out hardcore... bleh... not really her fauly... but still pisses me off.

Sooo... this summer has been nothing short of amazing.
I feel like it's the first time in a long ass time that I haven't wasted it.
A little over halfway through the summer and this is all the stuff me and Ashley have done:

Ummm... hey, I do exist.
So, I'm bored and wanting to clean my room up and move shtuff around. Which means... time to update? what?
There isn't a whole lot of interesting stuff to talk about, well I find it interesting, but you won't.
Things with Ashley are absolutely perfect. She continues to make me happier each day. It's been 5 months officially. Sure doesn't feel like it. We've been doing whatever we can lately. We've been to the zoo, park stuff, roller biking, puzzles, great lakes crossing, 89x b-day bash, etc etc etc. We never have a boring day. I absolutely love her with all my heart...
I honestly couldn't dream up anyone better than her. Now, things are great with her. Some stupid unecessary drama with her 'rents (mother basically), but it'll blow over... I think. Honestly, can you imagine parents not liking me? Exactly.
Work has been crazy hectic. One day they're doing major cutting of staff and hours and I'm barely making 10 hours a week, the next I'll be working a more consistent schedule... wahoo! Plus, summer will be here shortly with hopefully a caregiver position (first grade again?) there for me. The kids are absolutely WONDERFUL. I always have a blast working with them. They just have sooooo much character and stuff. After a few days of boring non-kid interaction, followed by complete involvement, has really made me eager to come in each day. Some of those kindergartners are soooo adorable. Anywho, it's a blast working with the ol' staff again. And I laugh at all those people who said I would hate working with my girlfriend... it's a blast!
The other day we went to the 89X b-day bash. We basically stayed at the Fox the whole time because it was filling up fast. I saw the Blue Van, Louis XIV, Tegan and Sarah, Keane, and The Killers. They were all really great. I never paid much attention to Keane outside their radio hit. But they sold me on their performance. The Killers sounded great, but didn't necessarily put on a great SHOW. Plus, they played so few songs.
Welp, that's my little update.
Haven't heard much from anyone this summer. Joel has disappeared! A Halo-less summer? Umm, I seemingly miss every one of Johns calls, whether he believes it or not. And that's about the extent of my friend-life!
Hopefully me and Ashmoo can hit up lots of stuff soon. Cedar Point... the zoo again... Frankenmuth... camping... State Fair.... Ren Fest... blah blah blah.
